My Pilates classes are offered only to my current or recent Pilates class members, on the basis that our classes have given you the techniques to participate safely, and that you will perform them using that knowledge and at your own risk.
I can accept new Pilates participants with prior Pilates experience, but only on receipt of a Health Questionnaire and after screening by me. For a Health Questionnaire please Contact Paul.
It is required that you inform me of any changes in your health situation or your medication before participating. All this information will remain strictly confidential, and will be held by me in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018.
You take part at your own risk, and I will not be responsible or liable for any injury or harm you suffer as a result of my programmes.
Accepting an invitation to any class implies acceptance of these terms.
Please make sure that you create a safe work space. Select an area with good light and ventilation. Ensure that you have enough room to perform the exercises safely to the front, to the rear, to the side(s), and upwards. Do not stand under light fittings, and avoid areas where there are hard surfaces, sharp edges & corners, slippery floors or mats, and any other potential hazards.
Keep hydrated and rest when appropriate. If at any point you feel unwell, stop immediately. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist.
Please select the appropriate level of exercise for your physical and technical ability, and adapt and modify exercises as necessary.
